Drunken Behavior & Public Order Disturbances

Severe drunken behavior including fighting, verbal abuse, shouting, and aggressive conduct carries the heaviest fines in Split. Police can issue these on the spot.

Public Urination

Urinating in any public space carries an immediate on-the-spot fine. This is actively enforced, especially in the Old Town during summer evenings.
